Deborah Simes, Attorney and Counselor at Law, is a Partner with Simes Partners, PLLC.  Simes Partners represents domestic and international family-held businesses and provides them with advice and counsel in business transactions with a focus on wealth creation and wealth preservation.

       Deborah provides advice and counsel to the clients of Simes Partners in domestic and international business transactions.  She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Boston University in 2001 with degrees in Economics, Political Science and Psychology.  Deborah received her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University in 2004.  She served as a Panelist’s Assistant on multiple North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Chapter 19 Arbitration Panels from 2005 through 2008.  Deborah was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 2006 and has since provided clients with advice and counsel on issues involving import-export regulations, in-bound and out-bound financial transactions, and domestic and foreign enforcement of contractual agreements.

          Deborah is fluent in English, German, Polish and Spanish and conversant in Russian.  She has lived in and attended local schools in Germany, Mexico, Poland and the United States.  Deborah is familiar with the local customs and traditions in these and other countries and is an active member of the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations.
